An Amiga (I think) format designed for voice storage and often not suitable for a disc player like PlayIt. It conforms to the "EA IFF 85" standard for interchange file formats and the chunk ID ”8SVX• identifies it as an 8-bit sampled voice.

Unsupported features are data compression, internal volume, and repeat blocks.
